Mission & Impact

Steady Care, Visible Change

Scoil Naomh Molaise builds the conditions children need to learn with confidence: trusted adults, practical routines, welcoming spaces, and strong links between home, school, and community life.

Our Mission

Every child deserves calm support and real opportunity.

Our work starts with belonging. We create practical, local supports that help children feel known, help families feel connected, and help communities stay actively involved in learning.

That means homework help that reduces pressure at home, creative activity that opens up confidence, family engagement that strengthens routine, and shared events that keep the school rooted in everyday community life.

We focus on consistency rather than short bursts of activity. When young people experience steady encouragement, clear expectations, and positive relationships, attendance improves, friendships deepen, and progress becomes sustainable.

Impact Snapshot

What Local Support Makes Possible

420 young people reached each year
92% families reporting stronger routine
38 active volunteers across programmes
14 school, civic, and community partners
Learning

Better engagement through practical support

Structured after-school sessions and small-group mentoring help children stay on top of learning while building trust in their own ability.

Families

Stronger routines at home

Parent circles, direct liaison, and clear communication reduce isolation and make it easier for families to keep routines stable and school contact open.

Belonging

Safe spaces create confidence

Shared meals, arts sessions, and calm community settings give children room to connect, participate, and feel part of something dependable.

Partnership

Local collaboration extends reach

We work alongside schools, agencies, and volunteers so support is coordinated, visible, and easier for children and families to access when it matters.

How We Measure

Impact is seen in daily life, not just numbers.

We pay attention to attendance, confidence, participation, family feedback, and the strength of local partnerships. The clearest sign of progress is when children show up ready to take part.

Attendance

Morning support and trusted check-ins helped more children arrive settled and ready.

Confidence

Creative activities gave quieter pupils a safe way to contribute and be recognised.

Family Links

Regular communication made it easier for parents to stay connected to progress.

Shared Effort

Community impact depends on consistent partnership.

Schools, local services, volunteers, and families all contribute to the same outcome: children who feel supported, included, and able to keep moving forward.
